We are crazy about Diemme Caffè Miscela Oro. It is truly a top-class coffee of the highest order: a medium coffee made of 100% Arabica with chocolaty overtones, creamy texture, harmony and long presence.
Diemme Caffè from Padua in North Italy uses eight high-grown Arabica coffees from Central and South America. Aiming to marry optimum features of each coffee into a perfect blend each of them is being slowly and separately roasted in small batches at constant temperatures in a rotating drum. This procedure is much more elaborate than many conventional coffees; however, we gain much inspiration from having Diemme Miscela Oro as a result.
Each coffee contributes to an optimum result, one to the richness and harmony of aromatic ingredients, the other to balancing acidity, fruity overtones, body, volume or lasting fragrance and presence. After roasting and cooling, the coffees are mixed into a perfect blend. It is a truly extraordinary roast. The fragrance is an invitation and promise, its flavour is noble, fruity and has a long presence, full body and perfect harmony.
Diemme Espresso Aromatico is made of 100% best Arabica coffee and roasted at the Torrefazione Diemme company in Padua.
The best high-grown coffees are used which are certified as organic coffee under EU directive 2092/91. As is the matter with all high-class coffee Diemme Espresso Aromatico 100% Arabica also requires a good selection of Arabica beans. Normally 6 to 8 different Arabica coffees from different origins are chosen to provide either richness, or the harmonious acidity, or the aroma and, above all, the coffees that provide an optimum flavour.
All these characteristics are mixed into a perfect blend. A slow and gentle roasting is another aspect which through a perfect manual procedure in a rotating drum a) combines all the aroma components and b) removes almost all the bitter acidity from the washed Arabica beans.
Diemme Decaffeinato is a top-quality decaffeinated coffee.
When clicking on “Decaffeinated Coffees” you find 15 producers from Italy offering their decaf coffees which all differ a little from one another. Diemme Decaffeinato is very mild and smooth, a typical North Italian roast.
Yet, aroma and flavour cover the entire spectrum of regular espresso. Just like for their other brands Diemme roasters use a blend of the best washed beans from Central and South America.
